Sentinel – a sound & light performance

Sinewy synths, ethereal vocals and electro rhythms meld with data visualisations by Valentina D’Efilippo, laser lighting & video content for this captivating live performance inspired by themes of climate change and forced migration.

Written and performed by Richard Evans, whose previous musical credits include work with James and indie chart-topping new wave act St Vitus Dancers. Vocals are provided by Olympia Hetherington, appearing courtesy of the Royal Northern College of Music.

This inspiring show is followed by an in-depth panel discussion with climate scientist Dr Ed Hawkins, evolutionary biologist Professor David Robertson and immunologist Dr Jo Pennock about the show’s compelling, challenging and thought-provoking themes.

Sentinel is a soundtrack developed from the Aeon: Miracle app’s short film series, produced by Cold Star Media & Ric Michael.
